Congratulations to Mary and John Pulley at 822 Columbia Drive for being our 2021 Baywood Holiday Lights Award Winners! John and Mary raised their family here and love San Mateo and Baywood. Mary is the Christmas elf of the family, although everyone gets into the act. The delicate white lights framing their home and landscaping, and the beautiful holiday wreaths in their windows, would look as beautiful in snowy Wisconsin (where they both went to school) as it does in Baywood. Mary and John were surprised and excited to be selected by the Baywood Board and hope it motivates others to put up holiday decorations. As winners, they will display a “Best of Baywood” plaque and receive a $100 gift certificate to a San Mateo small business of their choice. Mary and John have chosen Steiners Jewelry at 231 S. San Mateo Drive…a great choice. Thanks to everyone who nominated a Baywood home in our Holiday Lights competition. And thanks to everyone across Baywood who decorated their homes for the holidays...you helped make Baywood even more beautiful and fun!
