San Mateo City Manager, Alex Khojikian, will review the City’s recently approved Housing Element and how San Mateo proposes to zone for 7,015 of State-mandated new housing units by 2031. The City plans to zone for this new housing largely along transit-oriented corridors (i.e. El Camino Real and Caltrain), and Hillsdale and Bridgepointe shopping centers.
